About Naphill & Walter's Ash
Naphill Village (2014) - painting by Philip Hussey (click on image for more detailed view)
Our two delightful villages are located on a beautiful hilltop within the Chilterns Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty so are surrounded by glorious countryside as well as having our own magnificent wooded common. Whilst we enjoy the benefits of our rural surroundings we are close enough to several bigger towns which offer additional facilities and convenient links to major cities.
This is a friendly, happy, supportive community which caters for all its residents from the youngest to the oldest, it is a community built around caring and helping one another. All the schools within our catchment area are highly rated which also makes it an attractive family location. You can read more about our community spirit by clicking here.
Our RAF High Wycombe base is located in and around Walter's Ash. This is an integral part of our community and whilst the base is almost self-contained, the serving officers and their families are valued members of our community. There are excellent links between the base and the villages and we all work together to support one another and unite our community.
